Lift the leash

El sábado empezamos llegando 40min tarde al último examen del curso de entrenadores de surf (Historia y Meteorología) ya que nuestro conductor se saltó la salida de Zarautz en la autopista mientras los demás gritábamos “Nooooo!!!”. Después de la explicación y las risas lo dimos todo en el examen y nos fuimos al agua.

Después de comer, cambiamos de spot y tras andar un poco por el monte nos pegamos una segunda sesión en divertidas izquierdas de roca.

Ya de vuelta a casa, tuve el despiste de dejarme una parte del invento fuera del ascensor y pulsar el botón cuarto. Yo sujetando la tabla con todas mis fuerzas mientras el ascensor gruñía tratando de engullirnos a los dos. Finalmente el invento se rindió y después de un fuerte ruido me dejó atascado pensando si era el invento o el ascensor lo que se había roto. Después de varios intentos conseguí abrir la puerta y era el tercer piso.

Last Saturday started arriving 40min late to the last surf monitor exam (History & Meteorology) due to our driver missed our exit in the highway to Zarautz while us were shouting “Noooo!!!”. After the explanation and the resulting laughs we did our best in the exam and went to the water.

After lunch, we decided to change the spot. We walk for a while through the mountain and had a nice session with really funny lefts in a point-break.

Once back home, I took the lift leaving the leash outside which was quite a slip-up. After pressing the 4^th floor bottom the lift started roaring trying to devour my surfboard while I was holding it as hard as I could. Finally, the leash gave up with a bang leaving me trapped and thinking about if that was the leash or the lift. After some attempts, I managed to open the door and I was on the third floor.

Me acuerdo cuando me dio la noticia de que se iba a pegar ese viaje se me calló la baba aunque también es verdad que hay que echarle valor y dejar lo de aquí para invertir tus ahorros en ese viaje y más aún solo. Es fácil decirlo pero hay que hacerlo.

Para los que os lo perdisteis o queréis viajar sin gastar un cochino euro, aprovechar esta proyección y para los que aún queréis más, pasaros por su blog. Es muy recomendable.

I remember when he told me about the idea of that trip and I was stoked. Although, you must be really brave to leave your current life and invest all your savings in that trip by your own. It's easy to talk about doing it but hard to make it real.
